The variety Begonia x tuberhybrida 'Splendide Ballerina' is a trailing plant with drooping shoots 25–35 cm in height. It features large, double flowers 5–12 cm in diameter in salmon-pink, peach, apricot, and buttery yellow shades with variable coloration. Flowering continues from June to October; the plant is intended for hanging baskets and planters.

In professional catalogs of German nurseries, the name appears as a registration of an Elatior begonia variety intended for industrial cultivation in protected cultivation. Detailed morphological characteristics of this group are not described in available sources.
