The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing tuberous begonia and Begonia socotrana. The plant forms a compact, neat bush 15 to 40 cm tall. The leaves are asymmetrical, heart-shaped with serrated edges and pointed tips.

The flowers are double, gathered in inflorescences, and have no pronounced fragrance. The color varies from bright red to pink. The plant is characterized by medium-early flowering and the ability to bloom for an extended period under appropriate conditions.

The variety is sensitive to waterlogging of the soil and exposure to direct sunlight; it prefers diffused light. Due to its compact habit, the plant is convenient for keeping in pots 12–13 cm in diameter.
