The plant belongs to the Rex or Rex-cultorum group of ornamental foliage begonias. The leaves have an oblique heart shape with an elongated pointed tip, with a decorative coloring characteristic of this group.

The variety is a compact potted plant, with a height including the pot of about 25 cm with a pot diameter of 12 cm. The recommended temperature range for maintenance is from 15 to 25 °C.
