The variety has a growing season of 108 to 118 days. The root crops are positioned above the soil surface, possess a smooth surface, and have a cylindrical or elongated-oval shape. The dry matter content in them is 10–13%. The leaf mass remains green until harvest.

The plant possesses drought tolerance and immunity to fungal diseases, as well as high resistance to molding during storage. Seedlings tolerate frosts down to -3°C, and mature plants down to -5°C. The variety is suitable for manual and mechanized harvesting and is distinguished by good keeping quality.

The variety is intended for use as feed for farm animals. In technical documentation, it is classified as a polyploid variety, despite occasional references to it as a hybrid.
