At maturity, the root is positioned deep in the soil, making it poorly suited for grazing in the field, but optimal for harvesting with equipment intended for sugar beet. High dry matter yield potential ensures good storability.
The produce is used for feeding dairy and beef cattle; due to the high dry matter content, pre-chopping of the roots is recommended. The variety is also suitable as a feedstock for anaerobic digestion in biogas production.
