The variety is a polyploid form of fodder beet. The roots are white, elongated or oval in shape, and are characterized by a shallow root groove, which facilitates harvesting due to less soil contamination. The leaf rosette is upright and suitable for mechanized harvesting.
The plant possesses high productivity and yield stability even on less fertile soils. The variety shows tolerance to Cercospora leaf spot and beet yellows virus, and is resistant to drought and bolting. The roots and leaves contain a significant amount of dry matter and sugars, and are suitable for long-term storage at a temperature of 0.5 to 4.0°C.
