The root is cylindrical or elongated in shape with a reddish surface and reddish-white flesh. A characteristic feature is that approximately 2/3 of the root protrudes above the soil surface.
The variety belongs to the Eckendorf Red type. Due to the accessibility of the roots above the ground surface, it is well-suited for direct livestock grazing and mechanized harvesting.
