The variety is a diploid, heterozygous hybrid (F1). The roots are 45–50% embedded in the soil, which reduces soil contamination during harvest. There is also an updated version of the variety called Solidar Bis.
Root yield reaches 1100–1200 c/ha with a dry matter content of 12.0–13.0%. The roots contain sucrose and carotene and are suitable for feeding cattle, horses, pigs, and rabbits. The variety shows resistance to major diseases and is suitable for cultivation on less fertile soils.
