The plant forms a compact bunch weighing 0.7–1 kg. The leaves are leathery, and the stems are white.
The variety is suitable for spring and autumn cultivation, including successive sowing from mid-June to July. Winter sowing or overwintering in cold frames and greenhouses is possible. The crop can be harvested either as individual petioles or as whole plants.
