The variety belongs to the normal-sugar (NZ) type with a bias towards high productivity and is intended for commercial sugar production. Studies confirm high sugar yield per hectare with a root shape standard for this type.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to rhizomania. One of the key characteristics is tolerance to beet cyst nematode, which allows the variety to be used in fields with a high infectious background. The variety also possesses characteristics of tolerance to Cercospora leaf spot.
