Bomber Smart belongs to the sugar-type Z sugar beet hybrids. The variety is specially developed for use within the CONVISO® SMART weed control system, which involves the use of corresponding herbicides.
The plant possesses tolerance to rhizomania and resistance to Cercospora leaf spot. The variety is distinguished by resistance to bolting, stable yield, good row closure, and the formation of a small root crown.
