The international hybrid Geyser is focused on a balance of productivity and sugar content. It is characterized by resistance to rhizomania, rust, and good drought tolerance, and it also provides active soil cover with leaves.
The Russian hybrid "Гейзер" is a mid-season type N (yield-sugar) with a growing season of 150–160 days. The root crop has a wide-conical shape with medium immersion in the soil; yield is about 80 t/ha with a sugar content of 18.5%. The hybrid possesses high drought tolerance and resistance to ramularia leaf spot and root rots with medium resistance to cercospora leaf spot.
