The sugar beet variety Highrave was used in a number of field studies in the period from 1983 to 1995. The variety was intended for industrial sugar production.
During trials conducted in Japan, the variety was evaluated for root rot susceptibility under field conditions. Detailed agronomic characteristics, maturity parameters, or morphological descriptions of the variety are absent in open sources.
