The hybrid was bred by specialists at the Ivanivska Experimental Breeding Station based on the genetic formula 2xCMSmm × 2xmm. The designation "ChS" in the name indicates the use of cytoplasmic male sterility for seed production.
In scientific publications, the hybrid often appears as an object of biotechnological research, including the study of in vitro tissue regeneration capacity and the biochemical metabolic profile. In experimental conditions, the response of plant callus tissue to stress temperatures was investigated.
