KWY 937 - PERLA is a historic sugar beet variety created in 1983. Detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics of the variety are absent in open publications due to the fact that it is obsolete and removed from most modern registries.
The modern hybrid SMART PERLA KWS is developed for the CONVISO® SMART cultivation technology. It possesses high technological root quality, is characterized by high sugar yield and resistance to Cercospora leaf spot, as well as tolerance to powdery mildew and anthracnose, and is recommended for medium harvest dates.
