The variety was bred in Bulgaria by researchers from the Agricultural Institute in Shumen. It is intended for cultivation in temperate climates and is adapted to local vegetation cycles.

The plant possesses tolerance to rhizomania virus. The root crops are characterized by high dry matter content indices, which makes this variety a baseline for evaluating technological qualities and productivity in the variety testing system.
