The Pitt variety is an N/Z type sugar beet hybrid intended for industrial cultivation with the goal of obtaining high sugar yield. It is capable of forming stable yields under various environmental conditions, demonstrating high productivity even when affected by rhizomania and sugar beet root (SBR) syndrome.
The plant possesses strong resistance to rhizomania due to the presence of RzX genetics and very high resistance to root scab. The leaf apparatus is characterized by a balanced state of health; the variety demonstrates medium or good resistance to Cercospora leaf spot, powdery mildew, and rust.
