The Primahill variety was used in a number of scientific studies devoted to sugar beet responses to salt stress, exposure to ultraviolet radiation, the influence of environmental pH, and specific features of sulfur nutrition. The variety was also used in plant protection experiments, in particular when studying pesticide residues.
In technical documentation regarding the quality assessment of root crops, the variety was cited in the context of measuring morphological parameters, such as root height and the height of its "crown". The variety was intended for use in the sugar industry.
