The variety belongs to the normal sugar type and is mid-season. Its main characteristic is tolerance to rhizomania (beet necrotic yellow vein virus), which allows it to be grown in areas with a high risk of this disease.

During the breeding process of the variety, genetic resources of wild beet, known as Munerati material, were used to ensure disease resistance.
