The Steffka KWS hybrid belongs to sugar beet and is intended for industrial processing. The variety is classified in the ZR (Zuckerrübe) category.

A key feature of the hybrid is its resistance to Cercospora leaf spot (Cercospora beticola), which at the time of the variety's introduction represented a new type of protection for the manufacturer's line.
