The Terrapin Smart variety belongs to the NZ-type and is suitable for early and medium harvest periods. The plant is characterized by rapid development at early stages and high productivity, ensuring a high sugar yield.

The hybrid is ALS-tolerant, which allows it to be used in the CONVISO® SMART herbicide protection system. It possesses tolerance to nematodes, Cercospora leaf spot, and SBR (Syndrome des Basses Richesses).
