The variety belongs to the sugar or sugar-normal type of sugar beet. In specialized studies, the variety was used to investigate the effect of seed pre-sowing treatment technologies, such as laser irradiation and hydropriming, on germination and yield indicators.
Data on root mass yield, sugar content, and refined sugar yield were provided in official German variety lists. The variety also underwent testing for resistance to diseases, including Cercospora leaf spot and powdery mildew, and was included in studies on resistance to the nematode Ditylenchus dipsaci.
