Variety description

The plant forms basal rosettes of narrow oval green leaves and vertical upright flower stalks. Raspberry-purple flowers are gathered in spike-shaped inflorescences. The variety is characterized by sturdy stems and is fully winter hardy, although it shows moderate sensitivity to wind.
Flowering of the variety occurs from June to August, sometimes continuing until the beginning of autumn. The plant is used in landscape design for edging borders, flower beds, and mixed compositions, and also attracts insect pollinators.
