The tree is distinguished by its characteristic golden-yellow foliage color throughout the season. Upon unfolding, the leaves may have a slight reddish tint; in summer, they become yellow-green, and in autumn, they acquire a bright golden-yellow or buttery-yellow color. The habit is represented by a slender tree with a conical crown shape or a picturesque tree with a loose, slightly drooping crown.

With age, the white bark characteristic of the species appears, which may crack as the tree matures, forming black furrows at the base of the trunk. The variety is fully winter-hardy and undemanding to soil conditions, tolerating both moist and relatively dry soils well. It possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt and wind resistance.

The plant is used as a decorative specimen or accent in the landscaping of gardens, parks, and urban spaces. In hot and humid climates, the golden color of the foliage may be lost. Propagation of the variety is usually carried out by grafting.
