The variety BIDZ0002, known under the trade name Mexican Gold Semi Double, is a plant with semi-double head inflorescences. Compared to the variety Pirate’s Treasure, it differs in a larger inflorescence diameter, longer ray florets of a lighter shade of yellow, and shorter peduncles.
The plant is characterized by earlier flowering compared to the comparison variety. It is used in ornamental gardening as an ampelous or container crop for decorating balcony boxes, flowerpots, and flower beds. It is propagated vegetatively.
