The variety belongs to the medium maturity group. The plant is intended for agricultural use as part of pasture mixtures, contributing to the improvement of the forage base and nitrogen enrichment of the soil.

The variety was obtained as a result of a breeding program for local forage legumes and cereal crops adapted to the conditions of Portugal and the Mediterranean.
