Variety description

The plant is an evergreen shrub reaching a height of 1 to 2 meters with a crown width of about 1 meter. The foliage is fine, fragrant, and green in color. The flowers are large, differing from the bell-shaped forms of other hybrids by their star-shaped form and deep magenta color.
The flowering period of the variety is from late winter to early spring. The plant is moderately frost-resistant and prefers sites protected from direct sunlight, partial shade, or shade. It requires well-drained, slightly acidic, and moist soils, and needs watering during dry periods.
The variety is used in landscape design for creating borders and mixed plantings, and is also suitable for container cultivation. The stems are suitable for cutting as they are capable of retaining their color and fragrance indoors.
