Bouvardia of the Diamond series represent a group of varieties with similar characteristics, intended primarily for floristry. The plants have double flowers gathered in dense corymbose inflorescences. Flowers of the varieties in this series usually do not have a pronounced fragrance.

Bouvardia leaves are dark green, glossy, ovate or elliptical in shape, 7.5 to 10 cm in length. Plant height in commercial floriculture ranges from 50 to 90 cm depending on agronomic conditions. The crop is sensitive to waterlogging and requires maintaining a temperature regime of no less than 12°C.
