The KX2 variety is an innovative type of green kale with characteristic 3D leaf curliness. It was developed specifically for professional baby leaf production systems, including hydroponic installations and vertical farming, where product uniformity and specific leaf morphology are key requirements.
At the same time, the terms Hanover-salad and Siberian kale are collective names for a group of heirloom or regional varieties of this crop. Plants of this group possess high cold hardiness, early maturity of about 30 days, and differ from classic curly kale by a more tender texture and less pronounced leaf curliness.
