The winter oilseed rape variety Aragon is known as an object of scientific research dedicated to the study of genetic diversity and disease resistance. In particular, the variety has been considered in experiments assessing the control of the pathogen Verticillium longisporum and as a promising specimen for breeding work to increase quantitative resistance to this disease.
Data on morphological traits, such as plant height or maturity group, as well as official quality indicators (oil and glucosinolate content) are not presented in open sources.
