The variety is a leafy vegetable form not intended for oilseed production. The plant forms a vigorous rosette of large dark green leaves on a branched stem. Plant height when grown for greens reaches 30–45 cm, and up to 60–90 cm during further development.
The period from seedling transplanting to the first harvest is 30–50 days, with full technical maturity reached 75–120 days after sowing. The variety is distinguished by high hardiness and adaptability, with a potential fresh mass yield reaching 25–50 t/ha.
Used in culinary applications for fresh consumption, in salads and soups, and also as a forage crop for livestock.
