The Herakles variety is included in official European agricultural crop catalogs as rapeseed. However, in a number of publications, this name also appears in lists of swede (rutabaga) varieties, which indicates the need to clarify the botanical classification in each specific case.
During variety trials in Lithuania and Poland, the plants' susceptibility to diseases such as Alternaria, Phoma, white mold, and powdery mildew was noted in the absence of fungicidal treatment.
