LG Adeline is a mid-early winter oilseed rape hybrid. Plant height is approximately 159 cm; the variety has high lodging resistance and a stiff stem at maturity. It is characterized by high autumn and spring growth vigor, good winter hardiness, and plasticity regarding sowing dates.
The hybrid possesses genetic resistance to turnip yellows virus (TuYV), phoma stem canker (RLM7 gene), and pod shattering. High resistance to leaf spot and tolerance to verticillium wilt and cylindrosporiosis have also been noted.
The produce belongs to the 00 type (low erucic acid). Oil content is approximately 45.5% at 9% moisture; glucosinolate content does not exceed 15 µmol/g.
