The variety possesses genetic resistance to turnip yellows virus, phoma stem canker, and pod shattering. It exhibits high tolerance to verticillium wilt, cylindrosporiosis, sclerotinia stem rot, drought, and branched broomrape, and is also distinguished by resistance to lodging.
