This variety is not a commercial hybrid for mass agricultural production. In the scientific community, it is used primarily in breeding programs for mapping resistance genes and studying pathogens, in particular phoma stem canker.
The plant is known as a carrier of the specific resistance gene Rlm7. Depending on the goals of the experiment, it acts either as a source of resistance or as a control sample for assessing the susceptibility of other lines to diseases. Data on agronomic traits, such as yield or growth parameters, are absent.
