The variety belongs to the '00' quality type (erucic acid-free, low-glucosinolate), which makes the oil and meal obtained from the seeds suitable for food and feed purposes. The plant is winter-type and was traditionally used for cultivation for oilseeds.
In agronomic practice, the variety was used in European countries during the period 2008–2014. In scientific research of this period, it was often used as a reference sample of German breeding when studying the genetic diversity of the crop.
