A canola-type spring rapeseed variety characterized by low erucic acid and glucosinolate content. It was originally of French breeding and was actively used in agronomic research of past decades.
In modern breeding, Cresor is known as a reliable source of resistance to blackleg caused by the pathogen Leptosphaeria maculans. Its resistance to downy mildew and ability to withstand drought stress factors during the creation of doubled haploid lines have also been studied.
