The variety is a near-isogenic analogue of the Darmor variety, differing by the presence of the Bzh dwarfing gene. The rapeseed belongs to the "00" type with low erucic acid and glucosinolate content, obtained as a result of breeding based on the Jetneuf and Gaspard varieties.

Plants have reduced height due to the presence of a specific dwarfing gene. A certain ratio of proteins, including cruciferins and napins, is noted in the seeds. Varieties of this group possess resistance to phoma stem canker caused by the fungus Leptosphaeria maculans.

Due to its genetic characteristics, the variety is widely used in research work. It is used as a parental line for creating new hybrids and studying the genetic mechanisms of meal quality improvement.
