The variety named Dracula is an oilseed radish and does not belong to the rapeseed crop. The plant is used in crop rotations as an intermediate crop for green manuring.

This variety is used as a trap crop for pest control. It effectively suppresses the development of the northern root-knot nematode and the species Meloidogyne chitwoodi.
