Brassica napus var. napus Rapeseed · Agricultural · bred by SERASEM RECHERCHE ET SÉLECTION VÉGÉTALES

also searched as: драккар

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety possesses a traditional fatty acid composition, in particular, a linolenic acid content of about 9–10%. It has been actively used in breeding programs for mapping oil quality genes and studying allelopathic effects on other crops.

In agronomic trials, the variety is classified as mid-ripening. From the perspective of modern agricultural production, "Drakkar" is considered obsolete, as it does not possess the complex of resistance to modern diseases and lodging characteristic of current hybrids.
