Jerome is a mid-early spring rapeseed hybrid with a vegetation period of 105 to 127 days. Plant height varies from 108 to 132 cm. The hybrid belongs to the "00" type with low erucic acid and glucosinolate content, while the oil content in seeds is 40–45% and higher.
The plant possesses resistance to lodging and shattering, as well as cold hardiness, allowing it to withstand recurring frosts. The variety shows tolerance to major crop diseases and high plasticity to various growing conditions, including all soil types and continental climate.
