The variety is a winter oilseed rape. During trials conducted in 1997–1998, the variety showed seed yields exceeding the performance of the standard at that time, the Helios variety.
The seeds are distinguished by a very high oil content and a low to medium protein level. The glucosinolate content is about 6 µmol; a low erucic acid content is also noted.
