ActiveBrassica napus var. napus · Rapeseed
Pioneer Overseas Corporation US (USA)
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to winter forms of oilseed rape. Its agronomic characteristics, including yield level and disease resistance, met the breeding standards of the late 20th century; however, by modern criteria of productivity and adaptability, this variety is inferior to current hybrids.
In agricultural practice, the variety was traditionally used for obtaining vegetable oil and the production of meal. In modern reference materials, it is found primarily in archival publications as a reference crop of past years.
