The winter oilseed rape variety Navajo (Brassica napus var. napus) was studied in a number of European field trials in the early and mid-2000s. During the 2001–2002 trials, the variety was used as a reference object in the study of genetically modified herbicide-tolerant rapeseed variants.
According to the results of the 2007/2008 field trials, the variety showed the least leaf bleaching when using clomazone-based herbicides in the autumn period. At present, the variety is not represented in the manufacturer's current commercial catalogs.
