The variety has a mixed origin, the result of cooperation between Czech and German breeders. It belongs to the category of early varieties with a cultivation history of over 10 years.
The literature notes the high winter hardiness of the variety. In field trials of the early 2000s, the variety was used as a standard for comparing agronomic qualities, although it may be inferior to modern hybrids in terms of yield parameters.
