The rapeseed variety Otaman is officially included in the registers of plant varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine. In agronomic publications, the variety is mentioned primarily in the context of comparative field trials.
The results of studies conducted in the Kharkiv region from 2021 to 2023 indicate a higher susceptibility of this variety to powdery mildew infection compared to a number of other varieties. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant are absent from open sources.
