Ramses is a winter oilseed rape variety bred by the NPZ company in the second half of the 20th century. It belongs to historical varieties and preceded the emergence of modern "00" type hybrids, characterized by low erucic acid and glucosinolate content.
In scientific research, the variety often appeared as an object of comparative analysis, demonstrating good resistance to Phoma infection. At present, the variety is not a relevant commercial hybrid for mass seed production.
