Rapier is a winter rapeseed variety that appeared in agricultural reports in the early 1980s. The variety demonstrated productivity, however, its biological susceptibility to fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and Cercosporella was noted.
The name Rapier in agronomic literature also refers to a wheat variety and a herbicide trademark, which complicates the identification of the rapeseed variety in modern databases. Information on maturity group, plant height, or modern characteristics is absent in available sources.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
