Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to specialized oilseed crops of the HOLL (High Oleic, Low Linolenic) type. The oil of this rapeseed possesses high stability during thermal processing and lacks trans fats, which allows its use in the food industry and for the production of biofuels.

The quality of the product is characterized by a specific fatty acid composition. In publications, the variety is often used as a reference object when studying the influence of impurities of other varieties on the total linolenic acid content in the harvest. The agronomic indicators of the first HOLL varieties, including Splendor, were historically inferior to traditional varieties.
