Vegas is a winter oilseed rape hybrid with a plant height of approximately 148 cm. The variety is distinguished by rapid autumn development and vigorous early growth in the spring period. It belongs to the mid-season maturity group and possesses high lodging resistance.
The plant has genetic resistance to Phoma stem canker due to the presence of the RlmS gene. The variety is also characterized by resistance to Alternaria and tolerance to Verticillium wilt, which allows the stem to remain green until the end of the growing season.
The oil content of this hybrid's seeds is approximately 45.5%. The variety is intended for commercial use as an oilseed crop.
